About the performer: Introducing Temple Mountain, a singer-songwriter whose sound has sharpened and expanded over the past year. Raised in the rich musical environment of Long Island, New York, his early influences—The Beatles, Peter, Paul & Mary, and Simon & Garfunkel—laid the groundwork for a deep connection to melody and storytelling. As his voice developed, he drew inspiration from the emotional directness of Elliott Smith, the lyrical clarity of John Mayer, and the intricate guitar work of Bert Jansch.

Temple Mountain’s journey carried him through the music scenes of New York City and Austin, Texas, where live performance became central to his growth as a writer and performer. Eventually, a move to New Hampshire offered distance from the noise and space for reflection, allowing both his songwriting and sense of self to evolve.

That evolution comes into sharp focus with the release of his new EP, Dress Sharp, out December 31, 2025. Marking a deliberate step into a more pop-forward direction, the EP blends clean production, strong hooks, and emotional immediacy while maintaining the honesty and intimacy that have always defined his work. Dress Sharp captures a turning point—songs that feel more direct, more confident, and more present, without losing their emotional weight.

Since returning from a year-long hiatus, Temple Mountain has been actively performing across New England, honing this new sound in intimate venues and bar rooms. His sets now bridge reflective songwriting with accessible melodies, pairing select covers with originals that feel both personal and inviting.

Alongside his music, Temple Mountain is studying psychology and working toward becoming a licensed therapist. This lens naturally informs his songwriting, which explores themes of identity, mental health, and self-awareness with clarity rather than abstraction. His songs offer listeners something grounded—music that doesn’t just emote, but connects.

With Dress Sharp, Temple Mountain enters a new chapter—one defined by growth, intention, and a sharpened artistic vision. It’s a sound that invites listeners in, meets them where they are, and keeps moving forward.
